I am from an idyllic, Exmoor village, in the south west of England, a birthplace I share with the founder of the YMCA (yes, I know all the words!).
Having had a successful career in the private and charity sectors of the educational sphere for over 15 years, I was able to follow a dream and build a second career in teaching. My ambition was always to be able to make a difference and teaching certainly enables you to achieve that.
Travelling with my German partner and my two children, I have been fortunate to experience life and work in various settings, from Europe to Africa and the Middle East before landing in Austria.
I love being a teacher and have had the pleasure of working at LISA Junior for the last three years. There is a great camaraderie amongst the staff, a positive atmosphere and of course, wonderful students all of which makes it my favourite place to work to date!
I am currently enjoying school life as a member of the 1st Grade team teaching PYP 1, as well as sharing the role of PYP Coordinator this year.
