The aim of our IB programme is to develop internationally minded people who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet and help to create a better and more peaceful world. We strive to be: Inquirers, Thinkers, Communicators, Risk-takers, Knowledgeable, Principled, Caring, Open-minded, Well-balanced, and Reflective.
As of May 2014, Anton Bruckner International School is authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalureate.
We started our latest project in September 2015 and opened a PYP 5 class. From now an we will expand our school for another class up to grade 10. In school year 2017/18 we will start with our secondary education. This project is definitely a milestone for a continuous international education in Upper Austria.
Anton Bruckner International School (former Lisa-Junior International School) is a candidate school* for the MYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students.
* Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
